Getting to Alon Resort

Alon Resort is located on Siargao Island, which is in northeastern Mindanao facing the Pacific Ocean. Get to Manila or Cebu, then either go straight to Siargao Island or Surigao (which is cheaper but takes a lot longer). If you take the Surigao option, you will need to get a boat from Surigao to Siargao. Once you land in Dapa, the main port of Siargao, the trip to Alon Resort can be made by either public jeepney, motorbike, or private van.

Transport details are current as of January 2018 and are subject to change at any time. We can assist with some flight, ground and boat transfers if accommodation is booked at Alon Resort.

From Manila To Siargao Island

Skyjet has daily flights from Manila to Siargao (MNL-IAO). The flight leaves for Siargao from NAIA Terminal 4 at 1000am and arrives in Siargao’s Sayak Airport  at 1120am.
Cebu Pacific has daily MNL-IAO flights. The flight leaves for Siargao from NAIA Terminal 4 at 105pm and arrives in Sayak Airport at 325pm. Cebu Pacific also flies twice daily from Manila to Siargao with a stopover in Cebu. These MNL-CEB-IAO flights leave from NAIA Terminal 3.
Philippine Airlines flies once daily from Manila to Siargao with a stopover in Cebu. These MNL-CEB-IAO flights leave from NAIA Terminal 2.

From Cebu to Siargao Island

Cebu Pacific currently flies twice daily from Cebu to Siargao (CEB-IAO).
Please check their website for further details on current schedules and departure times from Manila to connect with the Cebu flight to Siargao.
Philippine Airlines has daily CEB-IAO flights that leave Mactan at 1130am and arrive in Sayak airport at 1230pm. There are two morning flights from Manila that connect to this flight.

You can purchase e-tickets online but be aware that all three airlines have baggage limits. Both Skyjet and Cebu Pacific will allow you to check in your surfboards for an additional fee, but Philippine Airlines has no specific baggage category for surfboards.

Please email us for further information regarding traveling with surfboards.

From Manila and Cebu To Surigao City

PAL Express flies daily from Cebu to Surigao City (CEB-SUG), leaving at 1230pm and arriving at Surigao airport at 115pm. However, this doesn’t allow you to catch the last ferry to Dapa on Siargao island, which leaves at 1130am.
Cebu Pacific also has daily CEB-SUG flights, leaving at 1050am and arriving at 1145am, which do connect with the ferry to Siargao island.

We have a representative in Surigao City who can meet and greet you upon arrival in Surigao City from the airport or pier and assist with boat transfers and tickets to Siargao Island.

It's highly recommended to have transfers arranged from the airport to Surigao pier in order to connect with a ferry to Siargao Island.

Van transfer from Sayak airport on Siargao to Sagana takes about 45 minutes.

Van transfer from Dapa pier on Siargao to Sagana takes about 30 minutes.
